Tarja Turunen

Cantora erudita finlandesa que iniciou sua carreira na banda de Heavy Metal "Nightwish" em 1997, durante o período que esteve na banda gravou alguns singles focados na musica erudita, mas ainda assim no Nightwish; até que em 2005 sai da banda e dá início a sua carreia solo numa banda de Gothic Metal Sinfônico que carrega seu nome, "Tarja".

Finnish classical singer who began her career on the Heavy Metal band "Nightwish" in 1997. During the period that she stayed in the band, recorded some singles of classical music, but still on Nightwish, until 2005 when she left the band and started her solo career band with her Symphonic Gothic Metal called "Tarja".

Members: Tarja Turunen (vocal and piano), Alex Scholpp (guitar), Christian Kretschmar (keyboard), Mike Terrana (drums), Max Lilja (cello) and Doug Wimbish (bass).
