Nightwish

Banda finlandesa formada em julho de 1996 por Tuomas, Tarja e Emppu. Inicialmente, a idéia era tocar músicas acústicas, mas com o passar do tempo foram substituindo os violões por guitarras e adicionando a bateria. Depois de anos de sucesso, no final de 2005 a vocalista Tarja saiu da banda, pois segundo os próprios integrantes, ela e seu empresário estavam tendo atitudes contrárias ao que o Nightwish representava. Em 2007, depois de muitas audições foi escolhida a nova vocalista, Anette Olzon.

Finish band formed in July 1996 by Tuomas, Tarja and Emppu. Initially, the idea was play acoustic songs, but over time the guitars was replaced by eletric guitars and add the drums. After years of success at the end of 2005 the singer Tarja left the band because, accordind to the members, she and her manager were taking actions contrary to that Nightwish represents. In 2007, after many hearings has been chosen the new vocalist, Anette Olzon.

Formação / Members: Anette Olzon (vocal), Tuomas Holopainen (teclado / keyboard), Emppu Vuorinen (guitarra / guitar), Marco Tapani Hietala (baixo e vocal / bass and vocal) e Jukka "Julius" Nevalainen (bateria / drums).

Ex integrantes / Ex-members: Tarja Turunen (vocal) e Sami Vänskä (baixo / bass).
