O Star One é um projeto de Heavy Metal Progressivo formado em 2002 durante as gravações do cds do Ayreon, e que é totalmente baseado em ficções científicas! O nome "Star One" é baseado em um episódeo de um seriado de ficção científica preferido de Arjen, chamado "Blakes 7".
Mas por que não continuar com o nome Ayreon?
O Ayreon é conhecido por ter vários estilos musicais como influência, o Star One é mais focado no lado musical mais pesado de Arjen.

The Star One is a project of Progressive Heavy Metal formed in 2002 during the recording of Ayreon's cds, and it's totaly based on SYFY! The name "Star One" it's based on a episode of a SYFY film, that's the favorite of Arjen, called "Blakes 7".
But why don't continue with the Ayreon's name?
Ayreon is known for have so many different kinds of music on their influence, the Star One it's more focused on the heavy musical side of Arjen.
